Nothing beats an engagement session with different looks and backgrounds. For Becca and Nick's engagement session we ventured out to Atlanta. Sometimes the thought of driving into Atlanta makes want to crawl into a hole, however, in most cases, it ends up fine as long as I leave extra early! Between random events that I didn't think to look ahead about and traffic, it can be challenging. Even so, Atlanta for photos never does actually end up disappointing.

We started our session with The Fernbank Museum. For Becca and Nick, this was a perfect place for their personalities. Who doesn't actually want a dinosaur in the background? Either way, the museum is a picturesque location with it's bright light. Remember when I said events I didn't plan on? Well, of course, they were setting up for a prom when we arrived. No worries! A good photographer will work around the chaos, work fast, and edit out unnecessary items. We got several great images in a matter of 15 or so minutes.

Our next stop was the historic Oakland Cemetery. Also, a fitting location for these two. In my location guide, you'll see this as one of my top Atlanta locations. It's stunning all year round, gives beautiful spots to capture portraits, between monuments, greenery and even the Atlanta skyline.

Becca and Nick looked beautiful in their attire that fit ever so cohesively with Oakland's architecture and greenery. You can really see how sweet their love is, but also very intriguing and dare I say, sexy! I can't help but love a redhead or strawberry blonde girlie though - Becca is just stunning!

I can't wait to capture their wedding come May!
